aboutUS
Strathbrock Community Centre was opened in
January 2003 and is part of the much larger Strathbrock
Partnership Centre.
The community centre provides accommodation
and support for many local community organisations as well as
offering excellent facilities for social events, conferences and
meetings.
The centre is
managed by a voluntary committee who have responsibility for
setting charges, approving applications for use, maintaining the
fabric of the building, developing the programme, raising funds
and determining policy within the centre.
The committee are
elected annually and is made up of representatives from all
member groups. A Centre Coordinator appointed by West Lothian
council undertakes the day to day management of the centre.
Many of the
activities and groups within the centre rely on volunteers and
without whom the centre would not function.
The Management
Committee meet on the last Wednesday of each month. |
